About:
Born into an energetic clan of Texan evangelicals and end-time prophecy fanatics, John Mark Adkison has always wanted to work magic for a living. Since sorcery was on the biblical not-to-do list, his childhood ambition turned to becoming a stage magician. Unfortunately, magic tricks are a lot harder than they look, so he opted for another magical art: writing. Wielding the power of the pen in service to the Bison newspaper, John Mark now leads the Bison staff as editor-in-chief in hopes of mesmerizing the Harding community through journalistic storytelling. Like sponsored athletes and high-paid socialites, he is a huge proponent of following your dreams, and still has modest aspirations for attaining superhuman abilities.
